INSTRUCTORS

Alexandra found yoga years ago, initially as an outlet to heal aspects of her physical body after years of running injuries. As this initial relationship deepened, she opened to the spiritual root of yoga, and has since used it as a tool for deeper alignment, connection to self and nature, and a practice to move through states into higher levels of being.

In 2015, after completing a degree in Public Health, her curiosity and initial experiences with the practice led her to Naples, Florida, she completed
a 200 hour training with Allowah Lani, exploring Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Kundalini yoga asana and philosophy. She plans to continue with her 500
Hour certification with Allowah on Maui in 2019.

In 2018, here in Waimea, she completed a week long advanced intensive with Julie Martin, of Brahmani Yoga, exploring the natural movement of the body
through spirals, fascial connections, and nervous system recalibration.

Her practice and teaching is rooted in deep listening and curiosity. In her classes, she encourages an exploration of feeling into each student's own natural, intuitive alignment.  Passionate about bringing a joyful quality to the practice, you can expect to laugh with Alexandra as you cultivate santosha by flowing with the breath and body while also finding the stillness and strength within each moment. She loves integrating aspects of dharma, poetry, and music to support the practice. Her intention is to lead students deeper into themselves and feel deeply into the richness of this human experience.

All the way from the east coast originally, she  now lives in Paauilo, with her partner, 3 goats, chickens, and hundreds of honeybees.
